Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT DOES MARYLAND HOUSE OFFER?

The Delphi difference is a brand guarantee, and we provide you with an environment that is warm and welcoming. We understand and empathize with the first steps of sobriety and how difficult they can be. The triggers in this initial phase may be unbearable, and we aim to support you by providing an atmosphere with everything from calm lighting to patience that increases your chances of success.

The atmosphere will remain light, and our staff will treat you with dignity. There is no stigma here that surrounds addiction or mental health, and judgment is not allowed. Once you complete detox, you will feel as though you are a part of the Delphi family. We also offer same-day intake to increase your chances of reaching your goal in a timely fashion.

One of the most appealing elements of what we offer is our medication-assisted treatment. During drug detox, we can supply you with Suboxone to help treat opioid addiction. We also provide other medications that will help battle drug addiction, as well as medication that assists during your alcohol detox. We proudly offer a variety of services for those at different stages in their addiction and life.

WHY SHOULD I DETOX AT MARYLAND HOUSE?

Not only does going through detox alone lower the odds of success, but it can be hazardous depending on your drug of choice. Many of those who attempt this process without medical support find that the symptoms of drug or alcohol withdrawal are much to handle. It means that they can end up relapsing before they have achieved their goal of long-term abstinence.

When someone does relapse, there is an added degree of difficulty because they may feel like they’ve ruined everything they worked toward. Some believe that everything they worked for is gone, and now they are back at step one, but this is just not true. Relapse is common as you’d experience with any chronic illness, and it is something that Maryland House can help you prepare for and manage.

HOW DOES WITHDRAWAL WORK?

Withdrawal symptoms can be extremely uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous. A team of dedicated professionals can help alleviate the worst symptoms and avoid adverse medical complications during medical detox. Additionally, a benefit of detox is to hold the client accountable for their actions and helps to ensure that you won’t relapse during the intense drug cravings.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

HOW CAN I PAY?

We offer various options to help get you into detox. We accept some of the major insurance companies including:

  • Aetna
  • Beacon
  • Cigna
  • HealthSmart
  • United Healthcare
  • USA Managed Organization

If you do not see your insurance company listed above, please give us a call at (443) 819-1388 to speak with one of our knowledgeable intake specialists.

HOW LONG IS DETOX?

Since we focus on a customized and tailored experience for our clients, the duration of your stay will vary significantly depending on what we are treating you for. Many variables influence the decision, including the length of time the client has used drugs, the dose that was last consumed, and type of drug among many others. On average, however, detox can last anywhere from three to seven days.

Welcome to Maryland House Detox, a facility that provides specialized medical detox to our clients. We are located in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, conveniently situated between Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. Our central location allows us to treat a wide range of clients who want a better life. Those who come to us for detox do so because of the customized and caring approach that our team provides to treat the most intensive phase in the continuum of care.

Maryland House Detox is part of the Delphi Behavioral Health Group family, which means you can rely on your current and specific needs to be met. We provide a wide range of services that can accommodate those going through alcohol detox or drug detox. Standard facilities will offer a level of care that is subpar, but Maryland House does not take the cookie-cutter approach. We believe in personalizing each client’s experience that leaves them feeling as though each need has been satisfied.

Maryland House is a detox starting point that offers various activities that keep our clients engaged during this delicate process.

The moment you step foot into our facility, you will be able to sense the Delphi difference that we provide. Outpatient Rehab

Additionally, we accept same-day intake (walk-ins). We are aware of the small window for those who need to get treated, and in some cases, other detox centers may require a more lengthy process. We make sure to expedite our clients to ensure they receive the treatment in the time frame that works best for them. When it comes to inpatient detox, time is of the essence.

Maryland House is licensed and certified to administer medications for those who are looking for medication-assisted treatment (MAT). MAT is a viable option for those who have not succeeded in previous detox or treatment centers, and we can provide suboxone is our clinicians decide this is the most beneficial option for our client.

Detox is an unpredictable time, and our trained medical team is equipped to handle any emergency that can arise. If you are looking for this type of approach, look no further, you have found the facility willing to go the extra mile to help you succeed.
